Lighthouse Beach, Ballina

A local favourite for both surfers and families. The southern end is patrolled in summer and ideal for swimming, while the northern end offers consistent surf breaks. Great for sunrise walks, picnics, or joining a surf lesson.

Angels Beach

Pet-friendly and popular with locals, Angels Beach is a quiet spot perfect for long beach walks or casting a line. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Seven Mile Beach – Lennox Head

This legendary surf beach stretches between Lennox Head and Broken Head. The northern section (closer to Lake Ainsworth) is popular with families and dog owners, while the southern end at Lennox Point is a world-famous right-hand break.

Lennox Point is part of the National Surfing Reserve.

Ballina Spit and River Mouth
