The Terrace Restaurant can be found inside the Islander Resort and Conference Centre grounds, overlooking the tropical gardens and lagoon pool. Enter from the main reception entrance and discover a culinary delight.

The Terrace Restaurant sources the freshest local and seasonal produce available to produce modern and innovative food. We prepare it with the utmost care and attention, cook it with love and precision and present it beautifully for you to enjoy in the stunning environment and a relaxed atmosphere of our restaurant. On warm nights guests are invited to enjoy their meal in outside in our adjacent undercover courtyard if they prefer. Bookings are preferred, however we can usually accommodate walk-ins.

Our aim is simple: We want to provide quality food along with the best dining experience possible, whilst keeping our prices reasonable. Quite simply, we want you to come back… often. 


The Terrace Restaurant uses local produce where possible including fresh seafood from just across the road at ‘Northern Rivers Seafood’ and ‘Knockrow Ridge Coffee’ for our barrista service. Because we use fresh, local produce our menu changes seasonally so there is always something new to try (although we do maintain some 'special' favourites). Our menu includes vegetarian, gluten and dairy free options and our chef will try to accommodate other dietry needs where possible. You can view our current dinner menu below, but please check with your waiter on the day as sometimes we have to modify the menu slightly based on what fresh produce is available on the day.

The region enjoys a ‘clean, green’ reputation, thanks in part to the organic and bio-dynamic farmers who championed their production long before it became fashionable.

 

Pre Dinner Drinks @ the Bambino Bar

The adjacent Bambino Bar is open to the public from 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and is a great place to enjoy pre dinner drinks and then when you are ready stroll into the restaurant for dinner, or if you're too comfortable to move, stay where you are and enjoy a casual (but delightful) meal from our Bambino Bar special 'Burgers with Attitude' menu or order from the a-la-carte restaurant menu and we will bring your meal to you.
