We’re conveniently located at Ballina Byron Islander Resort & Conference Centre, 1 Ronan Place, West Ballina NSW 2478 — just 14 minutes from Ballina Byron Gateway Airport and a short drive to top attractions including The Big Prawn (2 mins), Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum (10 mins), and Cape Byron Lighthouse (26 mins).

Is room service available?

Yes – guests can enjoy meals from the Tavola Restaurant delivered directly to their rooms, including breakfast, dinner, and snacks. Perfect for relaxed evenings or working stays.

Can you accommodate large group bookings?

Absolutely. We offer discounted group rates, group dining options, and customised itineraries for business groups, sporting clubs, tour operators, and extended families. Free coach parking, WiFi, and guest laundry are available onsite.

    Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability.

What if I arrive after office hours?

Reception is open:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

What are the room service hours?

Room service is available to all in-house guests:
  • Breakfast: 7:00 – 9:30 am ( Sun – Thur ) , 7:00 – 9:30 am ( Fri – Sat )
  • Lunch: 12:00 – 2:00 pm ( Sun – Thur ), 12:00 – 2:00 pm ( Fri – Sat )
  • Dinner: 5:00 – 9:00 pm ( Sun – Thur ), 5:00 – 9:30 ( Fri – Sat )pm

Is there a swimming pool and spa?

Yes – we have a beautiful outdoor saltwater pool and spa, open daily from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. You can even enjoy poolside room service, including drinks and snacks.

Are there running or walking trails nearby?

Absolutely – we provide maps of scenic running and walking routes along the Richmond River, including the popular 12K Canter route that leads to Lighthouse Beach and Shelly Beach.

Is smoking allowed?

All guest rooms and indoor spaces are strictly non-smoking. However, we do provide two designated outdoor smoking areas. Please let us know if you prefer a room located near these areas. A $125 cleaning fee will apply for any smoking in rooms.
