Such a pleasant overnight stay, staff were fantastic going beyond expectations to ensure our stay was fantastic. Restaurant was a delight, excellent menu (very reasonable prices) with breakfast included. Highly recommend the Ballina Byron islander resort.

After making a last minute booking and arriving after hours, we were so grateful to have found this hotel! It was easy to locate, and the room was immaculate, well-appointed, quiet, and very comfortable. Trudy at reception was wonderfully helpful, and thanks to Lisa and staff, breakfast was amazing! This venue has turned out to be the highlight of our dash to an interstate sporting event.

Very clean, neat, tidy and accommodating staff. I will be staying here again next time I visit Ballina. Staff are all very friendly and we had a nice quiet room. Thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation provided here. The food was excellent, so much so, we returned again on our 2nd night. Jason is an excellent chef.

Absolutely loved staying here! Great quaint atmosphere, lovely reception and hospitality ~ the food was AMAZING. Pet friendly too, which is really valued. Thank you for a great stay!

Great value rooms for a short stay, staff were lovely and the room was clean. Great restaurant and a nice pool for the kids to cool off in. Recommend the place for a tired traveller, and definitely try the restaurant or room service, the food is delicious.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff at the Balllina Byron Islander Resort My husband and I had a great stay The room was comfortable and air-conditioned we absolutely loved the food The Chef is fantastic best bruchetta ever !!! and the other food we ate soo yummy 😋 thanks for making my birthday so special Can’t wait till our return.

The ability to park outside the door was a bonus. The menu was adequate, and the wine list was fairly short but more than adequate including having some local ‘Big River’ wineries. The chef (Jason) made a point of checking with us on his cooking efforts- we gave him a very big ‘well done’

The pool was amazing & gardens and grounds are well maintained. Stayed in room with a garden view very quiet.

It was good to have a breakfast/dining room.
Not many places these days cater for breakfast and we don’t like going down the street to find a place to eat. Our room was nicely appointed and our bed comfortable.
